Mirror of Grace Outreach (MOG) is hosting our 2023 Parenting Wisely Community Awareness Celebration. This FREE community celebration will be held June 22, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the BREC Milton Womack Center Ballroom. Since 2010, MOG has been working with the community to offer assistance with effective family communications, extended family values, child growth and development, and healthy self-esteem. As a local non-profit organization, we work directly with local citizens, organizations, and the government to encourage “uniting families …. building communities.”
We are asking for your participation and sponsorship to support our programs. Your support for our community awareness event increases our ability to fund the many programs provided by MOG. These impactful programs help redirect and change the lives of Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area residents. Programs include Parenting Wisely classes, Re-Entry Programs, Inside/Out Project, Computer Literacy Training, Anti-Bullying- promoting kindness, YES! (Youth Enrichment Summer Camp), Out-patient Therapy Counseling and Community Outreach events.
This year our guest speaker is Dr. Janzlean Laughinghouse, PhD, Executive Director, Capital Area Human Services District. We will also honor and recognize our leading supporters, as well as have testimonials from program participants, and a complimentary buffet dinner.
